\\WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?

This is an outside event.  We suggest that you bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, sunscreen, bug repellent, umbrellas, a picnic basket with refreshments, etc.

\\WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

This is a rain or shine event.  We suggest that you may want to bring umbrellas just in case.

\\WILL THERE BE PARKING?

Yes, there will be free parking available to all of our guests.

\\WILL THERE BE ANY MERCHANDISE SOLD?

Yes, ECPAA will have a merchandise table set up to celebrate our Jazz Festival.

\\IS THERE ASSIGNED SEATING?

No, this event is general admission.   This is an outside venue at Yurechko Tree Farm, but there is plenty of space to seat yourself.

\\ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

ECPAA Jazz Festival tickets are non-refundable. There is ticket insurance offered for purchase.

\\WILL THERE BE FOOD & BEVERAGE VENDORS AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?

Yes, we will have 2 food & drink vendors on site. The merchandise table, run by ECPAA, will have water and sports drinks available for purchase.

\\CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD / DRINKS TO THE EVENT IF I DON'T WANT TO PURCHASE FROM VENDORS?

YES! A change from previous years, outside coolers and food are permitted. No glassware.

\\WHAT TIME IS THE FESTIVAL?

The 2022 Jazz Festival starts at 1:00pm and will end around 8:00pm.

\\WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?

The Festival is located off Route 395 Exit 24 (Southbound) or Exit 22 (Northbound) at Yurechko's Tree Farm (55 Yurechko Drive, Griswold, CT located off of Bitgood Rd).

 

\\ARE THERE BATHROOMS?

Yes, Port-O-Potties and hand washing stations will be available

\\WILL THERE BE AN ATM AVAILABLE ON-SITE?

No, there is not an ATM on site.  Please plan accordingly (cash/credit/debit) before you enter the Festival.  Credit cards are accepted only at Gate Entrance and Merchandise tables.  All food/drink vendors accept cash only.


\\WHAT TIME DOES EVERYTHING OPEN?
Box Office - 12:30pm

Gate - 12:30pm
Parking - 12:30pm

Music - 1:00pm until about 8:00pm
Food - 1:30pm until end of festival

\\IF I LEAVE THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS,  CAN I GET BACK IN?

Yes, re-entry is allowed through the Festival Main Entrance only.  You will need to show your ticket or proper identification prior to entering. Our priority is to provide a safe experience for all patrons, volunteers, and artists. (Don't forget to bring sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses, blanket, sweatshirt, money, etc.)

\\WHAT IS ALLOWED INTO THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS?

  • An individual blanket (maximum 6’x8’)

  • Low back chairs (under 30”)  Chairs over 30” will be asked to move to the back of the house so as not to obstruct the view of others.

  • Small shade structures such as chairs with roofs on the outside periphery of seating so as not to obstruct the view of others.  

  • Umbrellas can be used, however, must be closed and stored during sets so as not to obstruct the views of others.

  • Pop-up tents (maximum 10'x10') & sun tents are allowed, however, must be set up at the rear (along the foot of the hill) and along the side fence line of audience seating, so as not to obstruct the views of others.

  • Cameras are permitted but cannot be used to reproduce the event and must not interfere with other fans’ enjoyment of the festival.
     

\\COMING WITH CHILDREN
Children 15 & under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  Proof of age may be requested.  Children 3 & under are free.  Tickets for children ages 4+ and students (including college age) with valid ID are $15.

\\ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

Although we love dogs, dogs are not allowed on venue grounds. Service dogs are permitted with proper vests.


\\ADA ACCESSIBILITY
ADA SEATING:  An area on the lawn near the stage is reserved for disabled patrons.  Our volunteers will direct patrons to a special seating area.  Seating is not provided in this area so guests should bring lawn chairs.

ADA PARKING:  Our volunteers will direct patrons requiring handicap parking

 

\\NO CHAIR ZONE & ROOM TO DANCE
There will be a standing/dancing zone in front of the stage, at house right.

\\GENERAL POLICIES:

All persons, bags, and personal items are subject to inspection before entering the festival. 

Any ticket holder that directly or indirectly interferes with the environment of the festival may be asked to leave the venue.

We will be in the process of shooting video and still photography throughout the event.  By entering the grounds, you are consenting to the potential telecast, webcast, social post, and other exhibitions of your name, voice, and likeness.

​ECPAA JAZZ FESTIVAL encourages a smoke-free environment and asks that you respect the health of your neighbors at the festival and refrain from smoking, vaping, etc. in areas where it may affect someone else. If you must smoke, there is a designated area set aside for your convenience. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the provided receptacles.
